THIS RING IS NOT JEWELRY. IT IS A FUNCTIONAL ACUPRESSURE DEVICE TO RESTORE AND INVIGORATE YOUR FINGERS.
A THOUGHTFUL GIFT FOR YOURSELF AND PEOPLE YOU CARE ABOUT.
PRINCIPLES OF THE ACUPRESSURE RING:
•
We can't work without using our hands, our fingers, e.g. typing on keyboards, mobile phones and Blackberries, piano playing, knitting, gardening, household work.
•
To soothe and comfort your fingers, Acu-ring is an ideal workmate. It not only activates acu-points in knuckles and fingers, it stimulates the blood vessels, and manipulating it can help relieve finger pain, numb fingers, or tiredness caused by repeated motions.
•
The Acu-ring does not "puncture" the skin. Rather, its many rounded angles apply acupressure to the acu-points in the fingers. This is a form of massage for target areas that, in the theory of Traditional Chinese Medicine, stimulates not only the local points receiving the pressure, but brain activities as well, making us smarter and more vigorous.
•
The Acu-ring is Fun! Friendly! and delivers a health-giving Massage!
ACUPRESSURE RING MATERIAL:
Fine stainless steel wire plated with silver, twisted by specially programmed machining equipment into an array of many different angles in order to reach the acu-points.
HOW TO USE:
MASSAGING ACU-POINTS AND JOINTS OF THE FINGERS.
RELIEVING NUMBNESS AND TIREDNESS OF THE FINGERS.
•
Put the Acu-ring onto the intended finger, then push in and out with other fingers, causing it to roll along the finger surface, stimulating many fine acu-points. You may use more than one Acu-ring at the same time to suit your needs.
•
Massaging time: average 2 minutes per finger. Acupressure ring does not hurt your fingers
•
Cleaning: just dip the ring into clean water mixed with mild detergent and gently rub to remove dirt.
Anyone who has undergone massage will tell you about the spreading relaxation, increased warmth in local areas, and the stimulation of circulation they experience. Medical studies indicate changes in such things as blood flow; epidermal and cardiovascular function, pain threshold, muscular tone; psychological variables that are so important to maintaining a healthy metabolism. Increases in perspiration and the movement of muscles or internal organs are palpable benefits. In the theories of acupuncture, reflexology and related fields, massage applied to important areas (acupoints) can work to rebalance the flow of Chi in the body, which is why practitioners in those fields use massage techniques.
RESEARCH ON HEALTH EFFECTS
Scientific studies indicate that massage may result in significant relief of pain, in flexibility, in improvements in sleep, reduction in anxiety, and other factors. More effectiveness is usually seen when massage is combined with overall good health disciplines like exercise, healthy psychological practices, nutrition, and adquate rest. Many recognize massage as a good adjunct to fitness and weight-loss programs, for relief of stress, or of constipation. Pressure massage is the mainstay of reflexology, while traditional and alternative medicine considers that harmonizing the Chi through massage leads to long-term health outcomes such as strength, resistance to disease, and a better quality of life.
