SUGGESTED EXERCISES FOR THE MAMBO TWISTER:
Move elbows back and forth, and the waist and thighs will sway freely at the same time.
Swing arms out in front all the way up and down in alternating fashion, while twisting feet.
Squat while twisting feet. Experiment with different degrees of squatting.
Alternate stretching arms out in front with palms facing out. Keep knees bent while twisting.
Hold arms at 45 degree angles from sides, raise shoulders slightly and twist from the waist.
Put hands on shoulders and rotate arms while twisting legs.
Hold arms straight out at sides; keep palms upward and swing the neck lightly while twisting feet.
Straighten arms and rotate them fully in windmill fashion while twisting feet.
Stretch arms upward, palms facing out, and holding one finger. Keep hips steady while twisting feet.
Simply maintain a correct standing posture. Make fists and keep arms straight at sides.
With knees slightly bent, raise arms to place hands lightly on shoulders, maintain position while twisting.
Stretch your hands towards the floor, touching it if possible. Do not bend knees.
Arms extended in front, swing them while in squatting position.
Stretch arms out in front, join hands, and swing arms up and down while twisting feet.
Stretch arms behind back and join hands; then sway the arms up and down while twisting feet.
Hold arms straight out at sides, then swing outstretched arms crosswise in front, return to sides.
