| Moist
Heating Pad with Far Infrared Radiation |
 |
|
|
Far Infrared Radiation is invisible light having the
longest wave length among infrared light, from 3 microns to 20 microns. This radiation forms part of normal sunlight. Rays at this wave length resonate well
with the wave lengths radiated by the human body. With this resonance, FIR is easily
absorbed by the human body and is strongly felt.
The depth of penetration
is around 3 cm into the skin.
The moist heating pad relies on moisture being absorbed from the air and
applied in combination with Far Infrared Radiation
to ease and comfort the body.

Moist heat is especially soothing for temporary discomfort from muscle spasm or stiffness after a
strenuous day.
Arthritic
and rheumatic pain can be relieved and treated with
the moist pad. For sports injuries, or even after sports mishaps, the pads can be used as a preventative measure, as well as to aid in the rehabilitation process if pain does set in. The increase in topical blood flow can relieve the inflamed
joints and help maintain muscle flexibility.
The digital
moist heating pad with FIR produces moist
heat automatically. Moisture is drawn from humidity
in the air and retained in the outer cotton flannel
cover. When the heating pad is turned on, the rapid
heat rise forces the moisture out of the cotton
flannel into the skin. No need to
add water to the cloth. Scientific tests show that the moist heating pad with
FIR is more effective utilizing heat than
an ordinary dry heating pad: it sends heat deeper
into the body for maximum soothing and relaxing effects. |
