While the Vitality's twin-heater concept does provide high heat, it does so at a very high input cost, and using older technology.
The Far Infrared heat provided by the wall and floor heating panels of the I-Spa is a very efficient means of heating, in contrast to the two 800-Watt air heaters of the Vitality Sauna.
Those heaters work by attempting to heat the air inside the sauna, which then moves around to come in contact with you. The I-Spa, in contrast, uses the pure radiant heat of Far Infrared producing panels. Only a small portion of that heat goes towards heating air: the majority travels as radiant heat to warm and penetrate your body directly.
While the much more affordable I-Spa does have an optional ceramic heater which can help reduce pre-heating time of the sauna, the Vitality must rely on two ceramic heaters for its entire operation.
