The Interferential Stimulator IF-4000 delivers hand-held interferential treatment that is every bit as powerful as larger style devices found in physical therapy and chiropractor's offices. It delivers current that interferes with the transmission of pain messages at the spinal cord level for effective pain relief.
The Interferential Stimulator IF-4000 stimulation dives deep under the skin for better pain relief compared to traditional devices. This unit is perfect for patients suffering from chronic LBP (lower back pain), Spinal stenosis, post surgical pain, and more. The Interferential Stimulator IF-4000 can be used with two or four electrode pads, and can be set to a "constant" or "intermittent" setting according to the health provider's protocol. It runs on 9 volt batteries, or can be plugged into the wall with its transformer. It comes with a belt clip to allow for the user to be ambulatory during treatment, and has a battery indicator light to sense when the battery needs to be replaced. The model 4000 IF (Interferential) stimulator device is used to treat symptomatic relief and management of chronic pain and/or as adjunctive treatment in the management of post-surgical and post-traumatic acute pain. It is a low frequency treatment that uses two medium frequency currents which "interfere" with each other to produce a beat frequency that the body reacts to in the same way as a low frequency energy source. The range is usually 1-250 Hz. The body produces frequency currents between 1-256 Hz. The major use of interferential therapy is to accelerate the inflammatory or healing rate. So almost any condition can be treated where inflammation is a problem. This is a dual channel unit, which allows you to use up to four electrodes at a time.
