The IF-727 Interferential stimulator device is used for symptomatic relief and management of chronic intractable pain and as an adjunctive treatment in the management of post surgical and post traumatic acute pain problems. This leads to a biologically effective spectrum of 4-400 bps, which penetrates deeply into soft tissues and bones and produces a wide range of physiological effects.

HOW TO USE INTERFERENTIAL STIMULATOR IF 727:
Stimulator Controls
Setting your stimulator is simply a matter of adjusting the control until the stimulation feels comfortable or relieves your pain.
Note: When using only one channel, the intensity control on the unused channel should remain in the "OFF" position to prolong battery life.
Intensity: Two intensity knobs, marked 1 and 2, located on the top of the stimulator. These knobs are used to turn the stimulator on and increase or decrease the strength of stimulation. Most of the time, these are the only controls you wil need to use. When setting your Sweep Freq switch, the intensity controls should be set to OFF.
Sweep Frequency When you use the Auto Sweep function, it will modulate frequency between the range of you selected. for example, if you select 80-150bps sweep frequency. The modulation range of frequency is from 4080Hz to 4150 Hz for the output of channel 1. The sweep time is 15 seconds and repeat. The sweep time is 15 seconds and repeat. The output frequency of channel 2 is fixed 4000 Hz.
Pad Placement
Quadrapolar(4-pad placement)
Must be place in a diagonal setting surrounding the pain site.This kind of pad placement is the normal use for the interferential stimulator (IF).
Bipolar(2-pad placement)
No specific formation is required. Good for sweeping limbs or stimulation small areas.
Timer
The stimulator had set 20 minutes timer when you turn on it each time. After 20 minutes of treatment, the stimulator wil stop output automatically. if you want to restart it, please turn off both two channels' amplitude control then turn on it once again.
ADJUSTING THE CONTROLS
1.
Adjusting the controls
Be sure both amplitude controls for channel 1 and channel 2 are turned to "OFF" position.
2.
Connect leads
Plug L shaped end of lead wire set into the channel output receptacle to be use (1 and / or 2) , pushing plug in as far as it will go.
3.
Constant mode
Slide the sweep frequency selector switch in the "Constant" position
4.
Adjust beat frequency
Turn the beat frequency control to the setting recommended by your medical professional. The frequency output of channel 2 is fixed.So,adjusting the beat frequency control only affect channel 1.
5.
Auto scan
Slide the sweep frequency selector switch to 4-45, 80-150 or 4-set position which recommended by your medical professional.
6.
Adjust channel amplitudeTurn channel 1 or 2 clockwise.
The indicator will light up as long as the unit is in operation. Slowly turn the channel control in a clockwise direction until you reach the setting recommended by your medical professional. Repeat for the other channel, if both channels are to be used.
