HOW TO USE THE PROM-550 DIGITAL EMS UNIT
1. Check Battery
Be sure you are using a fresh battery. Insert battery into battery compartment matching + and - indicators.
2. Prepare Skin
Before attaching electrodes, identify those placement areas where your physician has recommended. Each location should be cleaned, rinsed and thoroughly dried.
3. Lead Wires
4 Self-adhesive, reuseable electrodes are supplied with the unit. Replacements available in correct size as specified by the supplier ( 2 mm).
4. Insert Pin into Electrode Socket Insert pin connector into electrode socket. It is preferable to insert the pin connector before attaching the electrode to the skin.
5. Adjusting the Controls
Be sure both amplitude controls for Channel I and II B are turned to " OFF " position.
6. Connect Lead Wire
Plug end of lead wire into the channel output jack to be used (A and / or B), pushing plug in as far as it will go.
7. Place Electrodes on Skin
The use of a conductive medium is subject to the specifications of the component parts contained in the unit or recommended by the dealer.

All TENS and EMS devices can usually use the same types of lead wires, provided the connection size is correct for the device.
