Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulator (TENS)
TENS, or Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation, means the transmission of small electrical impulses through the skin to the underlying peripheral nerves. It works in two ways. First, High-Frequency continuous, mild electrical currents may block the pain signal travelling to the brain.
