Indications for use of the Vertetrac with the D.B.S.:

Traction decreases intra-discal pressure on the nerve root and dural sac. Disc disorders are accompanied by muscle spasm and reduced transfer of fluid which accelerates disc degeneration. Research shows that transfer of fluid is essential for the normal biomechanics of the disc and is possible when the spine is in motion.
Treatment with Vertetrac is based on combining motion with traction which simultaneously decreases pressure, enables fluid exchange, improves Range of Motion (ROM) and promotes recovery.

The MRI above is of a patient suffering from acute low back pain, accompanied
by severe left-sided sciatica with neurological signs. The pre-treatment MRI clearly
shows herniation of the disc. After treatment with Vertetrac, the patient reported
all symptoms had resolved. The follow-up MRI taken 3 months after completion
of treatment cycle confirms no herniation of the disc.
