Start/Stop (when main power switch on base is On). At Start, default is manual mode, default running time 10 minutes, default speed level 2. After power on, before Start, and at Stop, LED displays "OFF".
After Start, alternatively select times from 5 minutes, 10 minutes or 15 minutes. When time is up, the device stops operating automatically, and LED displays "OFF".
After Start , alternatively select 10 modes from Manual, Auto 1, Auto 2 ... to Auto 9. LED displays H, A1, A2 ... A9. Speed changes controlled by automated programs. In Manual mode, Up/Down buttons control speed.
When in Manual mode, press this button to increase speed one level at a time. Holding the button for more than 1.5 seconds advances speed levels rapidly, accompanied by rapid "beeping" sound. LED displays speed level.
When in Manual mode, press this button to decrease speed one level at a time. Holding the button for more than 1.5 seconds reduces speed levels rapidly, accompanied by rapid "beeping" sound. LED displays speed level.
USING THE POWER FIT MIDDLEWEIGHT FITNESS UNIT 99962:
Moderate Leg Stretch to Lunge Standing with one foot on the plate, the other on the ground facing controls, hands on handrails Type: Strength & Stretching Procedure: Normal standing position, one leg raised, bent, onto plate, other leg behind, and straight Variation: move into lunge, with control. Bend at the hips, knees and ankles and lower torso slowly, with control, until maximum stretch is reached. Continue to maintain neutral spinal alignment and control. Hold posture for some seconds.
Calves Standing on the plate, facing outward, hands holding the handrails , support weight on toes, with only slight bend at hips, knees
Type: Strengthening
Procedure: Normal standing position, arms placed comfortably to grasp handrails
Variation: feet further apart, balancing on toes, stomach muscles flexed: increases training of back and of arms
Static Body Support (Arms) Feet on plate, hands on ground, body balanced between hands and feet in straight posture
Type: Strengthening
Procedure: Slowly and with control assume “wheelbarrow” posture, feet on plate, hands on the ground approximately shoulder width apart. Focus on straightening torso.
Variation: Push-up. Similar posture, but head towards controls, hands on plate, feet on ground. Bend the elbows to lower body towards plate. Keep alignment straight.
Seated, Legs Forward Sitting on plate facing sideways, legs fully extended forward, hands holding one handrail near head
Type: Massage/Stretch
Procedure: Normal seating position with full leg extension, arms placed comfortably to grasp handrails
Mainly training: legs, lower back, abdomen
Moderate Leg Stretch Standing with one foot on the plate, the other on the ground, hands on waist
Type: Stretching
Procedure: Normal standing position, legs slightly outstretched (both straight), hands lightly on waist
Variation: abductor stretch. More intensity in abductor achieved by leaning into leg on the floor with a motion of slowly sitting back -- with control, not too quickly.
Reclining Leg and Hip Raise Lying on back in front of plate, with arms at sides; place one leg, bent at knee, on the plate. Raise the other leg, keeping it straight
Type: Strengthening
Procedure: Assume position one step at a time, first lying down and positioning arms, then place both feet on plate, finally raise one leg straight while aligning hips with back.
Variation: May need to adjust angle by placing back on a raised platform. Can also do a pelvic bridge exercise.
